Hiya! I’m Yonrheal

And I’m so glad you’ve found me!

I’m the one behind the cam-

I’ve always been passionate about art for as long as I can remember. Photography has become my main passion ever since picking up a camera when I was little. In high school- we did a photography unit and I truthfully loved it and how the camera felt in my hands. Ever since, It’s something that I continuously enjoy and knew later down the road I wanted to do professionally.

I have a bachelors degree in Fine Arts Photography from Kendall College of Art and Design. While at Kendall, I also got focused with Printmaking and have a minor within it. Using my creative eye in a different medium helps me expand my love for art and story telling that’s not just within photography.

When I’m not out and about doing photoshoots I am either: At home glued to my PC playing video games, reading graphic/manga novels somewhere, or I am with my boyfriend or best friend at cosplay cons or concerts.

I genuinely love taking stills either in digital or film. Being able to capture a moment with my camera either for my collection or for a client, it’s something that bring me a lot of joy being able to do. Whether you are looking for someone to capture a moment creatively or artistically you’ve come to the right place! Working with people and giving them the moments they want to capture forever is what I strive for.

If you’ve made it this far you may be wondering why my business is named Myrtle Lou- It’s my grandmothers name and I adored her with all my heart, and instead of naming my studio after myself I thought it would be best to use a different name (plus I get tired of people saying my name wrong..) so more or less my studio is a dedication to her for always being there for me when I needed someone and for her always telling me to pursue something I enjoyed :).
